Life on the links is a breeze with the Golf Buddy, a GPS range finder unit with an eagle eye for golf ranges. This hand-held device comes packed with information for all available courses in the U.S., and can hold information for up to 20,000 courses–worldwide courses included. What information, you ask? The Golf Buddy Pro features automatic course and hole recognition, displaying your position on the course relative to your distance to greens (to back, center, and front), bunkers, hazards and more; and it allows you to set up to eleven other targets of your choosing.
The Golf Buddy GPS Rangefinder sports a sharp little monochromatic display, which reads well in all realistic lighting conditions. It gives a good overview of each course and hole, and displays all pertinent information (hole number, distances, even the name of the course) in an easy-to-read fashion.

The unit is constructed to take a beating, so you needn’t be afraid of its falling out of a pocket; and it’s water-resistant, so a little rain or even a dip in a water hazard is no problem. Powering the Golf Buddy Pro is a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, which will hold a charge long enough for you to get through your game. In the event that your game runs a little longer than expected (or you simply forget to recharge the battery), however, the Pro will switch over to the AAA backup battery, allowing you to finish your game uninterrupted.
